Terms of Service

Meishot (the “Service”) creates and provides profile photos for professional use, with clothing, background, lighting and composition adjusted, based on photos of yourself that you upload.

Each order provides 20 finished photos (for one person) for $13 (tax included). There are no recurring charges.

The Service is limited to people aged 18 or older who use photos showing themselves. Photos of other people and photos of minors cannot be used.

When you upload photos, you will be asked to agree to the following.

All photos I upload are of myself, and I am 18 or older. I agree to have my photos sent to an image generation service to create profile photos, and I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

The automatic check of whether a photo can be used is an aid to maintaining the quality of finished photos. It does not verify that you are the person in the photo, or that the person in the photo has consented.

You may use finished photos to introduce yourself, for example on a company website, a professional profile, business cards or speaker introductions. They do not meet the specifications for official identification photos such as passports or driver’s licenses. If you use them for application documents or similar purposes, check the requirements of the recipient.

You may not use them to impersonate another person or to mislead others.

Within 7 days of completion, you may request regeneration once, for up to 5 photos. Regeneration is not available after the original photos have been deleted.

If we are unable to provide photos due to a fault on our side, we will refund the full amount. Questions about finished photos are accepted through Contact. Refunds are made to the original payment method.

Finished photos are stored for 30 days after completion and original photos for 7 days after completion, after which they are deleted. Original photos uploaded before payment are deleted 24 hours after your last action. You can delete them from the order page at any time during the storage period. You may not upload photos of other people, use the Service in violation of laws or regulations, interfere with the operation of the Service, or use it by fraudulent means. If we find a violation, we may cancel the order or suspend your use of the Service.

If we change these Terms, we will announce it on this page. For orders already purchased, the price, number of photos, regeneration and storage periods remain as they were at the time of purchase.
